If you didn’t get the chance to watch this video, I thought that I would write a few things that Beth mentions, and I particularly loved this video as it hones in on the mind, and not just in general, but spiritually what can happen with the mind, and the amazing, interesting, and fascinating capabilities that it has. I am absolutely impressed with Beth Moore’s seminar here, and I thought I would share it with you. I actually didn’t plan on this, but came across someone else’s blog, and wondered how they uploaded videos on their blog.
I have been thinking a lot about the mind lately, and the things that we listen to, or what we take note of in our mind. I love how Beth Moore really grabs hold of our attention through her speaking, and I absolutely love motivational speaking like this.
I really hope you enjoy this video, and really wanted to share because it totally speaks to me. “Thought processes, and the mind is the awareness, and to know what we are doing and why” is interesting, and particularly, mental health is an issue close to my heart. That’s why I support The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s campaign, Heads Together. The Lady Wallace also talks about another issue which I thought was a fantastic piece, you will be touched, and moved by her sincerity and genuine thoughts on #itsokaytosay.
Depressions, anxiety, specific things like this has become so much a great deal, and I have had my own mental circumstances, which I have the passion and zeal to bring something into activation, and engage with people on things that matter.
You can COMPLETELY change your mind. We can literally, really change our minds.
We can change the direction and path of our life if we allow ourselves to renew our minds. There are numbers of books, especially at Koorong, or Word Bookstores that hold manuscripts on christian beliefs that help and assist with the mind. One book that I think of that I haven’t actually read yet, but really want to is The Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer. It actively focuses on the renewing of the mind, and Joyce Meyer helps with changing the way you think. The book is roughly around $15, or you can find it at your local library. It is at most christian bookstores, as it is a number one bestseller.
“Power thoughts” is another book I want to get, as it talks more about the achievements that your mind can make in life. I particularly love this subject as we all have a mind that gets carried away with negative thought patterns, or doubts that make us think, ‘I can’t do that’, ‘I’m not smart enough’, ‘I will never be able to shed 20 kilos again’ – things like this really take its toll, and I have a genuine passion to help, and encourage young ladies to really grab hold onto the thoughts, and motivational speaking from Beth Moore, Joyce Meyer, even if you have found someone else that you love hearing, it doesn’t matter.
I want to take captive my thoughts. I want to get rid of those strongholds, and release and be free from these negative things that control my mind. Unforgiveness, resentment, rejection, any of these could be apart of your life, that you can (maybe not fully change), but you are capable of living victoriously. You can walk without having any kind of sin having dominion over you.
Here are some scriptures that you can find in the bible that may help:
(Allow yourself to open your mind)
Epehesians 4:17-19
1st Corinthians 6:12
1st Chronicles 28:9
Colossians 3:2
Ephesians 6:12
Phillipans 4:8
SCRIPTURES FOR A SOUND MIND – JOYCE MEYER
I don’t know about you, but I want to ‘renew‘ my mind, and use it as a powerful tool, and work it because God has given me a mind, I didn’t create it, so I want to use my unlimited capacity, and go further and further and deeper and deeper into life, and learn so much.
Our minds are capable of doing so much. I want a lot out of life, and I want to grow even more spiritually, and personally, so I learn to shut off my computer, phone, social media, and take some quiet time – whether if it’s with God, or not – taking time to switch off really helps. Learn to do this either weekly or monthly and you will have a happier, healthy life.
Keep in ‘mind’ that you have a brilliant mind, and BELIEVE it. Take the time to renew.
A physiological thing is happening in our brains constantly. We keep thinking the same patterns/thing over and over again at times where we need to decide HOW we are going to think and what path you are going to tread.
Whatever your life is, I encourage you to take the time throughout the day, create a habit, or choose the morning or night, to sit and read something inspirational or motivational, like your bible, or a women’s christian devotion or book, to help to change the way you think and feel. We have the capability to know the thoughts we think. We can change our minds, and that will change our hearts.
